This lacrosse tournament featured 10 teams from seven Pan American countries. On Sept. 3 – 5, 2021, Florida hosted the PALA tournament consisting of both a men’s and women’s tournament, showcasing World Lacrosse’s new Sixes discipline.
Big congratulations to the Iroquois Nationals team who were victorious in the women’s division, and had dominated the sport and remained undefeated the entire tournament. They would easily take the win over Puerto Rico in the championship by a score of 17-9.
The women finished the tournament with a plus 64 goal differential — an amazing feat for our Haudenosaunee women.
The Iroquois Nationals will participate in the “Super Sixes” tournament hosted by USA Lacrosse on October 23-24 in Sparks, Md. This tournament includes Canada, the Iroquois Nationals and the United States in a round robin tournament for both men and women.
